Chicken Biryani downtown

Abu Nadeem’s tiny restaurant downtown has been one of our favourite places.  Abu Nadeem is from Pakistan and he and his wife have been based in Jordan for 30 years.

One of my favourite things about Abu Nadeem’s restaurant is that no matter what day of the week we go, or time of day, the only thing available on the impressively long menu seems to be chicken biryani.  It happens to be the most delicious chicken biryani I’ve ever tasted.

Apparently if you go at the weekend there are more food options (but I’m very happy with the biryani).

Lots of people have asked us how to get there, so here’s a map:

Abu Nadeem’s is open every day until around 7pm.  If you’re more than about 4 people, its worth calling him to let him know what time you’re going so he can make sure there’s enough food:  079 544 0715
