Wadi Dhahek

Although its been almost a month since we ended our farewell tour and left Jordan, there are still a few places we visited that we didn’t have time to write about and so, for the sake of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, this and the next few posts are the very last of them:

Wadi Dhahek is really close to the Omari border so its not a place to camp as you’ll have the border police knocking on your tent door in no time, but its easy to do as a day trip.

Wadi Dahek

The main excitement about Wadi Dhahek is hunting for fossils – particularly fossilized shark’s teeth which erode out of the rock.  Its also a particularly impressive moon-like landscape, and the GPS point to get you there is here.
